Rather interesting week...

So, I practically started writing my days out in a journal I had bought at the beginning of DTS recently and found it to be oddly enjoyable going through my day and remembering what had happened. Surprisingly I remembered the things that happened in lecture because usually I am drifting in and out of conscientiousness and falling asleep, like I did on Monday and actually drooled a little on my shirt. David Hamilton is a great speaker, he just found himself on a bad week to speak on because my entire DTS is already on Outreach since we leave on the 26th. Well, two teams do, the third leaves on Monday.

I have a new found love that strikes my spirit: Soccer. The tension, the anticipation of an impending goal, the heart break, the fury at a bad call, it is all so intense that I can not help but love it. Where has the passion for this sport been all of my life that it has finally appeared out of the blue thanks to the FIFA World Cup. USA beat Algeria 1-0, Praise God, and will meet Ghana soon after. Go USA!

We had our Love Feast tonight which was amazing. The food was amazing, the fellowship was awesome, the tribute to the staff was hilarious, and the rest of the evening was just as swell. Even though Johnny has said it once before, I was fighting back the urge to be super happy and cry when he said that he wanted to yell that it was privilege to be at my baptism after I had expressed my great joy in his attendance during an affirmation session. Our leaders and staff are amazing and they each hold an individual strength that compliments the other in such a way that it is an incredibly balanced and anointed group of individuals. The best part of the night was Gods faithfulness and the rewards for sacrifice. I, being the gentlemen that I am, allowed the ladies to take most of the shuttle seats and allowed the rest of the guys to get in before I did. As I peered through the doors as they made an attempted to squeeze themselves together to make room, two thoughts entered my head. Well, one thought and one feeling. The thought was, Thats a lot of body heat, and the feeling was, Do not get in, wait for another ride.

There was supposed to be another shuttle along with this one but little did I know that the shuttle was leaving at the same time that the one I had send on its way by closing the door, with much protest from the others. Thankfully, God was weaving an interesting occurrence when Aaron, Kim, and Kellye appeared from the parking lot and told me that the other shuttle had left to. Well, long story short, I made it home thanks to God and Aaron.

Welp, thats about it for now. This blog will be the one thing that people can find me after I leave on the 26th because I will be deactivating my facebook account. Updates and what not will happen.

Yeah.

New bloggin begins...

So, this is my first time ever making a blog so right now I will just take the time to thank Jesus for throwing this here idea in my brain that I should make a blog. Luckily, it is coming at a time where my life is about to undergo a super awesome transition from safe haven in Hawaii to...Central Asia. Joy.

I shall be using this to throw out my ideas, share some stories, write my own little fictions slash narratives, and tell everyone just how awesome God is moving. Kay? Kay.

Thanks, yo.
